Structure In A Church Plant:
Organizational & Financial Wisdom

Wednesday, April 29th
12:00 PM ET

Most church planters know they need structure, but very few know what kind. And the models we default to are usually borrowed from the business world or the megachurch playbook, neither of which were built for the kind of community Jesus had in mind.

Through fifteen years of leading The Park and building the 412 Project—a ministry resource organization that provides coaching, strategic planning, and back-office support to churches and nonprofits—Scott Austin learned that the structures that actually serve the mission are rooted in two things: sound financial discipline and polycentric leadership built on mutual submission.

Those two things sound very different, but they're inseparable. You can't lead from a place of freedom if you're financially enslaved to a budget you can't see clearly, and you can't build a multiplying community if all the authority lives in one person. This webinar will explore discoveries from Scott's experience & expertise and the practical tools and frameworks he now bring to the churches and leaders he serves.

In this webinar, we will explore:

  • Why churches need structure and why the wrong kind kills the mission

  • The unglamorous part of church planting that almost nobody talks about: where you stand financially

  • Polycentric leadership as a theological conviction, not just a management strategy

  • Mutual submission as the practice that makes the structure work
